How About Me Now?

I’m not going to say District Attorney Fani Willis needed any kind of validation from anybody. I don’t know the lady. I wish I did, but that is a totally different point. I’ve met quite a few brilliant women, and many of them were of varying skin tones. Some of them should have gotten much further down their career tracks than they did. Sometimes I asked and the answers were painful. Other times, it was their own choice for various reasons. We all make choices.

DA Willis may have a route picked out for herself. In Georgia, the District Attorney’s office is elected by the people of a political district. In this case, the district does not include all of Fulton County because of the population density of the City of Atlanta and 15 other cities. Other districts in Georgia might include multiple counties. (Example: One district is Coweta, Fayette, Spaulding, and Lamar. But it changes with the census.)

This Trump RICO case could make or break her future.

There’s elected offices and the Attorney General’s office will be coming up in the 2026 election. That’s a possibility. Or the Governor’s office.

She could be appointed to a judicial post. Those are usually coveted.

Law schools might come courting her to teach since people who do RICO well are few.

There’s always going into the workings of the legal system itself and working within the investigative side for ethical violations or regulatory problems with the profession. There are new fields of law where ethical standards simply do not exist yet. Cyber law is one of them. International law is very murky. Space law? Oh, my.

But first DA Willis needs to flip a few more of Widdle Donnie’s play pals and maybe his daughter to testify for the prosecution. As of 10.24.23, she has four in the bag.

Hmmm, let’s see now. 19 co-defendants. 4 have flipped. That leaves 15. I’m guessing, totally guessing, but I’d ballpark she has maybe 5-6 more deals available. That might be high. Better get them while the getting is good. When they are gone, they’re gone! The rest get the baloney on wonder bread sandwiches no mayo.

Live in west central GA with 5 horses, 2 dachshunds, 3 cats. Life is complicated. Especially when you are an older female living in rural Georgia and the system is definitely rigged against you. God, I've learned to appreciate at least something of what minorities go through. White men are such boar hogs.
