It Is Not Inevitable That MAGA Wins

I’ve noticed some things that Main Stream Media (MSM) is not reporting. Now remember that most of the outlets are OWNED by people who are themselves supporters of right-wing causes. They are all very much right-wing leaning or frankly MAGA. That includes the Washington Post (Jeff Bezos although they do try to stay fairly middle-of-the-road), the New York Times (largest shareholders include  Vanguard Group Inc, BlackRock Inc., Farallon Capital Management Llc, Stockbridge Partners LLC, ValueAct Holdings, L.P who are all very ‘conservative’), and the New York Post and the Wall Street Journal, which are both owned by the Rupert Murdoch family.

Why would they NOT report information that might help you in making decisions about your choice of candidates? Because you might make a more informed decision that is NOT the one that they want to brainwash you into thinking is the real situation-but it isn’t. But the truth is there if you look for it. You folks are smart. You can see it for yourselves. Oops.

Here’s the reality from both Iowa and New Hampshire:

First in Iowa, the weather did cause a very low turnout, BUT they are just about all WHITE, largely evangelical, and DeSantis moved his entire campaign team to Iowa. Neither Trump nor Haley did much campaigning there. That’s your baseline.

Of those voters turning out, a little over 50% DID NOT VOTE FOR TRUMP. That’s huge. By all logic, this crowd should have swarmed to his camp and they did not. Exit polling revealed that they said that they would vote for “anyone but Trump including a Democrat.” That means that these voters are extremely displeased with him for any number of reasons.

In spite of DeSantis’s efforts in Iowa, he came in third in the voting and dropped out. So did Vivek Ramaswamy, and both of them opted to endorse Trump. (This after DeSantis promised to wear his boot on his head. Unknown if he has actually attempted such a feat.)

Then in New Hampshire, Trump and Haley got their first head-to-head contest. Yes, Trump came out the statistical winner. Here again, it is not the fact that she came in second but the fact that the voters who voted for her were choosing to vote for her instead of Trump because they can’t stand HIM. Again, exit polls consistently said that if given the choice of Trump and anybody else including a Democrat, they would choose the Democrat. The numbers are significant.

“Conservative”* voters are telling MAGA style politicians that their policies STINK and they will not vote for them. They have promised and promised and promised but the scales are falling off the eyes of Joe and Jill Average Voter and they aren’t going to put up with their High Priests of Our Personal God government and they’re saying nope, not having it.

I believe in having people with high moral standards and high ethics in government, but I also believe that RELIGIONS per se should NEVER be allowed in any governmental proceeding. You are asking for trouble. If this mess doesn’t illustrate why, I can give you more illustrations. They all lead to oppression, genocide, and wars. I’m heartily opposed to all of that.

Now the RNC, Trump, and all the rest will put out the message that he is invincible (he is not), that Haley cannot possibly beat him (oh, yes, she could, and she knows that), and that Joe Biden is too old (he’s not the one showing clear clinical signs of dementia or wearing an adult diaper). He’s seriously hurt by what is happening in the courts both civilly and criminally. He’s going to lose his businesses, his finances, probably his clubs, his reputation, his brand, and most likely his political career all in one year. He’s nothing but a bitter, mean, sociopathic, narcissistic old man drifting into dementia whose family is drifting away from him and he has no friends. He’s pathetic in a way, but he did this to himself. The problem is that so many other people followed him down this path of hatred, greed, and over-consumption. We have them in our government and now we have to get them out. They’re embedded like fat ticks.

We can do this, but we cannot get lost in fear, hate, and distrust of “otherisms”. Tolerance has limits. You can’t allow everything and anything into your home, but you cannot be too choosy either. It’s a balancing act. Let’s learn how to do this together.

I want to be part of this. I want to help Georgia learn to change intelligently into the future. We will need the creativity and innovation of people of all cultures and ethnicities who come bringing a fresh perspective to our issues. Denying them entry hurts US. Let’s find a way to be growing in unity,

Elect me to the State Senate so I can help make these decisions. I want to hear your voices about these things. Let’s do this together.

*Conservative as a label can mean so many things and it has changed immensely in the last even five years. I’m not even going to try to define what it means today. I do know that it does NOT mean what it meant in Reagan’s day.
